I get the humor, but the unwillingness of American culture to accept finality in all sorts of areas betrays a disturbing lack of maturity that is neurotic if not worse (cf. obsession with replays in sports and never ending appeals (eg deflategate)). Some mechanical issues need fixing: State by state certification obviously needs to be brought up to something like 21st century speed. The electoral college principle is important but there should be no allowance for discretion--it should just be a statistical reality. An obviously marginal candidate--Stein--should have no standing whatsoever to request a recount. A candidate who has conceded defeat--Hillary--should have a very short 'statute of limitations' for reconsidering--perhaps days but certainly not weeks. It may be tolerable to allow college kids to riot after a game but post-election violent protests and threats of violence should have substantial, well known penalties, including the lifetime loss of citizenship (=right to vote) and immediate, permanent deportation for non-citizens.

The Clinton campaign has not commented yet, but I imagine they want no part of a recount. Opens them up to criticism in the press, and would anger the Trump campaign at a time when she doesn't benefit from doing so. Until the FBI is done investigating the Clinton Foundation, I think Bill and Hillary will be staying out of the spotlight. Chelsea has a brilliant future in Congress representing NY 18, and that must be protected. Hah, bastards all of them.

I'm not even sure if she can request a recount. The entire thing happened so quickly--she has raised $2.7 million (and counting) in less than 24 hours. They raised their goal from $2.5M to $4.5M about 30 minutes ago. Not sure she thought this through before starting the fundraising drive.

Jill stein want's a recount because her votes were siphoned off to Hillary (I know conspiracy theory but think about it the percentages of the left sanders voters that voted chose Hillary over stein?She only pulled the ridiculous percentages they claim.)She is the only democrat pushing for recount because there was so much vote rigging going on by the Democrats and the Republican establishment a true investigation would find that Trump was able to overcome this by sheer numbers in turn out.Also I find it strange that in all these so called close states there are no establishment Democrats calling for a recount, could it be that honest recount would show Trump won the popular vote?Yes I think they want a Republican President coming in without a mandate of the popular vote that is why the Democratic establishment will not allow any recounts.

There is an organization I follow on Twitter that says they have evidence that as many as 3 million illegals voted this time around. They are preparing to launch their report in the next few weeks. It is academic in nature and they work with TrueTheVote and JumpVote, 2 other voter integrity organizations. It will be very interesting to see how it shakes out.
