How is it fanning the flames of hatred. I'm simply making a point about US spending on Israel, a valid point given our deficit.

With all the drumbeats out of Israel for war with Iran in the next month, and considering what that will do to global markets, I think it's highly relevant. I am neutral on Israel. They are a wealthy country, we borrow 43 cents of every dollar, why are we borrowing to give them aid.

We'll see what others think. If nothing else, it will create some conversation around here.

Money controls power. Israel is just another super strong lobby not unlike the Pharma lobby, the Banking lobby, the Agriculture lobby. All of them have too much influence, especially since we're bankrupt and still spending borrowed money on their pet projects.

PS..im a structural engineer from NY state...ive done the math and physics that describes those collapse events for myself...They couldnt have physically fallen at those accelerations we all saw without energy added to the system....Thats a mathmatical fact....and is the why the "govt" didnt "bother" to quantify the events, even those required by law to do so.
